  5. See you at the Fish Festival...

A magical seaside festival celebrating the authentic flavors of the maritime tradition.

The Caorle Fish Festival is one of the most beloved summer events, attracting visitors from across Italy—and beyond—every year.

Usually held in September on Madonnina Beach, it offers a unique opportunity to savor the specialties of Caorle’s traditional cuisine just steps from the sea, in an atmosphere where the aroma of the grill mingles with the salty breeze. Freshly grilled fish, crispy fried dishes, fragrant risottos, and local recipes are prepared directly by Caorle’s fishermen, creating a genuine and flavorful culinary experience.

More than a food festival, the Caorle Fish Festival is a true moment of sharing and conviviality that tells the story of the town’s soul: its deep connection with the sea, its fishing heritage, and the simplicity of authentic flavors. The beach setting, wooden tables overlooking the sea, chilled white wine, and live music all create a warm, joyful atmosphere by the water.

For the occasion, a traditional “casone” – a typical wooden and reed house from the Caorle Lagoon, once home to local fishermen and their families – is faithfully recreated. It allows visitors to step back in time and experience the essence of Caorle’s fishing culture.

The Fish Festival awaits you in September.

Taking part in this celebration of flavor is the perfect way to enrich your holiday in Caorle, especially if you love discovering local cuisine and immersing yourself in authentic traditions. The event is just a short walk from the hotel and offers the chance to enjoy freshly caught fish prepared with respect for the sea and tradition.

An unmissable experience to share with your loved ones as the sun sets, with the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell’Angelo in the background and the sea shimmering in golden light.
The 2025 edition of the Fish Festival will take place from 19 to 28 September 2025, with events spread across two weekends (19-20-21 and 27-28 September).
Food stalls will be open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, and for lunch as well on Sundays.

Don’t miss it!
